First Communion 2025

We welcome and celebrate our First Communion recipients.

Congratulations to the 26 students who received First Communion at the Church of St Matthew during Masses on May 10, May 11, and May 18. Father Thomas Kommers, sacramental minister at St Matthew, presided.

Fourteen of the students attend Community of Saints Catholic School. Twelve of the students attend area public elementary and middle schools and were prepared through the St Matthew Faith Formation program. The students are Abel, Agatha, Aidan, Alex, Aniyah, Abel, Brenda, Camila, Eleanor, Jalisiana, Jayvin, Jazmin, Johanna, Kain, Luna, Lupita, Marty, Maya, Mia, Nicholas, Oscar, Samantha, Santiago, Syier, Valerie, and William.

Registration for First Communion in May 2026 will open in August 2025 at st-matts.org/faith-formation.
