Facilities and Environment
St. Matthew’s campus takes up an entire city block, and keeping our buildings in good order is central to our mission to help others. Maintaining our facilities and keeping our church environment beautiful takes a team of committed volunteers, some with special skills and experience, and others who are simply willing to help. Whether you’re handy with a hammer or a hoe, have a flair for interior design, or just have time you’re willing to share, your participation is welcome
Facilities Upkeep- Members of our Facilities Committee work with the pastoral administrator to oversee all the buildings on our campus and sometimes tackle hands-on projects.
Plants and Gardens – If you are interested in horticulture, we have flower beds near the church’s main entrance and indoor plants that need tending.
Church Environment
Our environmental team partners with our Liturgy Committee to create a beautiful worship space that aligns with the liturgical calendar.
